Cool Palms Motel

Cool Palms Motel is located at 4 Nebo Road, Mackay, North Queensland. We are conveniently positioned diagonally opposite the Show Grounds and just a 4-minute drive to Canelands Shopping Centre or 6-minute drive to Mackay city centre. It is an 11-minute drive from our motel to Mackay Airport. All rooms are on the ground floor and have a private bathroom, smart TV, air-conditioning and a dining table. You can park your car in one of the free parking spaces provided.

Guests can relax in the fully fenced outdoor pool and barbeque area. Cool Palms Motel offers an after hours check in service and free WiFi.

Booking Policy

SMOKING
Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and across the property. A charge of $150 will apply to smoke affected rooms. Designated smoking area is located on the grass section of the property.
In the event a guest room triggers a false fire alarm, the emergency services call out fee will be charged to the guest.

CLEANING/DAMAGED
If excessive cleaning is required in the room, a minimum cleaning charge of $100 will be added. Any theft or damage of any items from the room will result in a charge to repair and/or replace the item.

BEHAVIOUR
We reserve the right to vacate any guests or group who exhibit antisocial behaviour or cause disturbance, from the premises at any time during your stay, without refund.
We have a strict no party policy on our premises. Only hotel guests are permitted onsite.

PETS
No pets are allowed on the property. A charge of $150 will apply if guest bring their pets to the room.

LIABILITIES
You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms or other natural disasters caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.
You agree that regardless of your length of stay there is no tenancy or any other proprietary rights created under any laws.
You consent and authorise the Company to collect, use, and disclose your personal information for the purposes of administering your booking and providing you with services associated with your booking.

By booking with Cool Palms motel, you accept on behalf of your party, our terms and conditions.

Deposit Policy

The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation in the 2 days before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations more than 48 hours prior to arrival day will not incur a fee. Cancellations after this time will incur a fee equal to one night’s stay.

No Show Policy

Please note, in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Child Policy

Children of any age are welcome.

Children 13 years and above will be charged as adults at this property.

Cot available upon request AUD 15 per night.

Check-in Policy

The minimum age for check-in is 18.
A government issued valid ID proof will required.
Credit card details will be required at check-in for room damaged security.
Guests must be a minimum of 18 years to stay, children under 18 years of age must be accompanied
by a legal parent or guardian.

HOUSEKEEPING
Daily room refresh includes:
Room Clean.
Bed remake (linen only changed at seven (7) days or upon request).
Towels change.
Bin bags change.
Coffee and Tea replenished.

PARKING
Free undercover parking is available for all guests on site. One (1) parking space per room is allocated. Parking on grass is prohibited unless prior permission granted.

SWIMMING POOL
Open every day from 7am – 8pm. Pool gate to be kept closed at all times. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No glass or smoking allowed in the pool area. No running, jumping or diving. No use of pool equipment by guests.
